A South Atlantic League: Savannah 4/8/0, Greenville 5/4/0, Savannah is swept 0-2.

Taylor Whitenton got crushed for 5 runs on 4 hits and 3 walks in 5+ innings to take the season ending loss for the Gnats, whose bullpen turned in a FANTASTIC effort with 4 hitless innings (3 by Josh Edgin), enabling the Gnats to bring the tying run to the plate in the bottom of the 9th. Aderlin Rodriguez, however, flew out with Matt den Dekker on 2nd, ending the Gnats season. It was more of the same from Whitenton, who ended the regular season with a 4.57 era, and a 6 era in his last 10 starts.

The Gnats offense had 8 hits and a 5/11 BB/K, while going just 2 for 11 (.182) with RISP and leaving 10 on base. Aderlin Rodriguez (3) had the only multi hit game for the Gnats.
