AA Eastern League: Binghamton 3/7/0, Harrisburg 5/9/0 in 10 innings

Michael Antonini had a very good outing tonight, but Manuel Alvarez gave up 2 runs in his 2 innings of work to blow a 3-1 lead, then Edgar Ramirez allowed a pair in the 10th for the loss. The Mets offense had 7 hits and no walks, with 12 strikeouts. The were 1 for 2 with RISP and left 3 on base.

Kyle Allen lasted just 3 innings tonight, givin gup 5 runs (4 earned) on 7 hits for his 8th loss of the season. The good news tonight is he only walked one. Scott Moviel relieved him and was better then he has been, he gave up a run on 2 hits and 3 walks in 3 innings. Rhiner Cruz finished out the game with 2 innings of 1 run ball. The Mets offense had just 4 hits and a 3/10 BB/K, while going hitless in 7 ABs with RISP and leaving 8 on base.

It was an early morning tilt today, and the Gnats came out on the short end of a 5-3 game. John Church gave up 3 runs in 5 innings for a ND, he was unable to hold leads of 2-0 and 3-2. Guillaume LeDuc took the loss after giving up 2 runs in his 3 innings of work (both in the 8th inning). The Gnats offense had 7 hits and a 3/5 BB/K, while going 1 for 5 with RISP and leaving 7 on base. RJ Harris had the only multi hit game for the Gnats, while Robbie Shields, James Schroeder (0 for 2, run, 2 BBs) and Dock Doyle (0 for 3, BB, .200) took 0-fers.
