AA Eastern League: Binghamton 6/9/2, Harrisburg 8/13/1

Mark Cohoon had one of his better AA outings, giving up 4 runs (2 earned) on 7 hits and a walk in 5.2 innings for a ND. Dylan Owen didn’t retire a batter and allowed 2 hits and a walk to blow the save.

The Met offense had 9 hits, 5 walks and 6 runs, while striking out 8 times and going just 3 for 14 (.214) with RISP and leaving 8 on base. Jose Coronado and Kirk Nieuwenhuis had multi hit games, while Mike Nickeas (0 for 2, BB, K, .284) took the only 0-fer.

A+ Florida State League: St. Lucie 5/12/2, Lakeland 9/6/0

Brad Holt had 4 shutout innings under his belt, then got oblierated for 5 runs (4 earned) in the 5th, and didn’t make it out of the inning. Elvin Ramirez allowed both of his IHR to score. Overall, Met pitching allowed just 6 hits, but walked 9 and hit 2 more.

The Mets offense had 12 hits and a 2/7 BB/K ratio, while going 3 for 11 (.273) with RISP and leaving 8 on base. Pedro Zapata, Hector Pellot, Wilmer Flores and Richard Lucas had multi hit games, while Rafael Fernandez took the only 0-fer.

Justin Schafer had the only multi hit game, while Chase Greene, Aderlin Rodriguez, ZeErika McQueen and Ismael Tijernia took 0-fers.
