Eric Niesen gave up the go ahead run in the top of the 12th inning, after the BMets bullpen had done a GREAT job to that point, yielding just a run on 3 hits in 5 innings. Robert Carson started and gave up 4 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings for a ND.

The Met offense had 8 hits and a 7/15 BB/K, while going 2 for 10 with RISP and leaving 12 on base. Jordany valdespin had the only multi hit game, while Jose Coronado (0 for 3, run, 2 BBs, .240), Josh Satin and Jon Malo (0 for 6, 5 Ks, .198) took 0-fers.

Brad Holt is just a complete and utter mess this season, one of several pitchers in the system who are. Tonight, Holt gave up 3 runs on 5 hits and 5 walks, as well as hitting one and throwing 3 WPs. Scott Shaw and Michael Powers gave up 2 runs apiece in their outings.

The Met offense had 7 hits and a 2/10 BB/K ratio, while going 1 for 7 (.143) with RISP and leaving 5 on base. Kai Gronauer and Stefan Welch had multi hit games, while Wilmer, Rafael Fernandez, Hector Pellot (0 for 4, 3 Ks, .247) and Richard Lucas took 0-fers.

After his breakout 8 inning start 2 turns ago, Michael Hebert sadly hasn’t followed that up with good outings either of his last 2 starts, insteading getting roasted for 10 runs (7 earned) over 8.2 innings combined, with 2 losses.

The Mets offense had 8 hits and a 3/3 BB/K ratio, while going 3 for 8 (.375) with RISP and leaving 8 on base. Lucas Stewart and Brandon Brown had the two multi hit games for the Mets.
