Despite their best efforts, the Mets won tonight 7 to 5, after blowing leads of 4-3 in the 9th and 5-4 in the 10th. Michael Fisher picked up the save in his first career pitching effort. Michael Powers worked for the win. The Mets offense had 15 hits and a 4/13 BB/K, while going 5 for 17 (.294) with RISP and leaving 12 on base. Pedro Zapata, Wilmer Flores, Rod Barajas, Eric Campbell, Richard Lucas and Ryan Mollica had multi hit games, while Mike Moras, Stefan Welch and Fisher took 0-fers. Eric Beaulac started and went the first 5 innings, giving up 3 runs (2 earned) on 5 hits with 9 strikeouts.
