Eddie Kunz and Roy Merritt combined to give up 4 runs on 4 hits without retiring a single batter in the 7th inning, blowing a 2-1 lead and also blowing a fine outing from Chris Schwinden. Kunz took the loss, Merritt got the BS. The Met offense had 9 hits and a 2/10 BB/K ratio, while going 2 for 9 (.222) with RISP and leaving 7 on base. Jose Coronado and Josh Satin had multi hit games, whlile Saloman Manriquez (0 for 3, BB, 2 Ks, .245) and Jon Malo (0 for 3, .188) took 0-fers. Zach Lutz left the game after 1 AB.

Eric Turgeon had been pitching very well coming into tonight, then he absolutely IMPLODED in the 7th inning, allowing 5 runs on 3 hits and a walk to blow a 5-3 lead for the Mets. Brandon Moore had a meh outing, giving up 3 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits and 4 walks in 5.1 innings. The Mets offense had 6 hits and a 3/9 BB/K, while going 3 for 7 (.429) with RISP and leaving 2 on base.
