Robert Carson got ripped again tonight, giving up 6 runs (5 earned) on 8 his and 3 walks in 4.2 innings for his 4th EL loss. The Mets offense came to play, plating 9 runs on 12 hits and a 4/10 BB/K ratio, while going 3 for 9 with RISP and leaving 7 on base. Josh Satin, Kirk Nieuwehuis, Sean Ratliff, Zach Lutz and Jose Coronado had multi hit games, while Raul Reyes and Brahiam Maldonado took 0-fers.

Brandon Moore and 3 relievers combined to hold the Tigers to a run on 9 hits, and 3 different Met drove in runs as St. Lucie won it 4 to 1. Moore got a ND, with Elvin Ramirez picking up the win, Eric Turgeon picked up his 4th save. Pedro Zapata collected his first multi hit game and XBH in St. Lucie, he and Rafael Fernandez had multi hit games, while Wilmer, Michael Fisher (0 for 3, .229) and Joey August (0 for 3, .260) took 0-fers. The Mets had 8 hits and a 2/5 BB/K ratio, while going 3 for 10 with RISP and leaving 4 on base.

Armando Rodriguez had one of his best outings of the season, with 7 innings of 4 hit shutout ball with 7 strikeouts in picking up his 6th win and evening his record at 6-6. The Gnats offense had 8 hits and a 2/3 BB/K, while going 2 for 4 with RISP and leaving 3 on base. Wilfredo Tovar, Robbie Shields and Cesar Puello had multi hit games, while Juan Torres, Nick Santomauro, RJ Harris (0 for 3, K, .170) and Alex Gregory (0 for 2, BB, .214) took 0-fers.
