Michael Antonini had a very good outing today, but he look his 6th loss of the season, after Emary Frederick gave up 3 runs in the 8th inning to turn a 3-2 game into a 6-2 game. The Mets offense had 7 hits and a bad 2/12 BB/K ratio, while going 2 for 7 (.286) with RISP and leaving 5 on base. Sean Ratliff had the only multi hit game, while Raul Reyes took a golden sombrero, and Jon Malo had the other 0-fer.

Oliver Perez started today and wasn’t good, giving up 4 runs on 5 hits and a walk in 6 innings for the loss, he gave up 2 homers. Kyle Allen gave up 4 runs in his 3 innings, but remember, he’s unused to relieving. The Mets had 9 hits and a 2/6 BB/K, while going 2 for 8 with RISP and leaving 8 on base. Jordany Valdespin, Wilmer Flores and Carlos Beltran had multi hit games, while Stefan Welch, Juan Lagares and Michael Fisher (0 for 4, run, 3 Ks, .313) took 0-fers.
