Michael Antonini had a meh outing, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits in 5.1 innings, but picked up his 5th win of the season. Eddie Kunz had another bad outing, giving up a run on a hit and 3 walks in 1.1 innings. Manuel Alvarez picked up his 3rd save with a scoreless 9th.

The Mets offense had 10 hits and a 0/6 BB/K, while going 2 for 7 (.286) with RISP and leaving 4 on base. Luis Hernandez and Mike Nickeas had multi hit games, while Marshall Hubbard (0 for 4, RBI, .255) and Jose Coronado (0 for 4, K, .221) took 0-fers.

Eric Beaulac pitched decently today, despiting giving up 8 hits and 2 walks in 5.2 innings, he allowed 5 runs (2 earned, 4 errors, 3 on Wilmer Flores, one on Richard Lucas), but took the loss, his 2nd. The Mets offense had 9 hits and a 2/0 BB/K ratio, while going 2 for 6 with RISP and leaving 5 on base. Carlos Beltran DHed the whole game and had 2 hits. Juan Lagares and Kai Gronauer also had multi hit games, in their 2nd games at high A. Wilmer Flores, Richard Lucas and Rafael Fernandez took 0-fers.

Jim Fuller fired 6 shutout innings tonight to lead the Gnats to victory…or maybe it was the 13 hits and 4/5 BB/K, but either way, the Gnats rolled 9-0 tonight. The Gnats went 6 for 15 (.400) with RISP and left 9 on base. Pedro Zapata, RJ Harris, Nick Santomauro, and Cesar Puello had multi hit games, while Alonzo Harris took the only 0-fer.

Darrell Ceciliani had 3 more hits, including his 2nd triple, and Angel Cuan fired 5 innings of 3 hit, 1 run ball, but took a ND after Johan Figuereo blew the save good, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits.

The Mets scored early (5 in the 3rd) and often (5 of 9 innings), just dismantling the Twins tonight, hammering out 16 hits and drawing 12 walks against 10 strikeouts. They were 6 for 20 with RISP and left 13 on base. The top 3 in the batting order (McQueen, Schafer and Aderlin) were a combined 8 for 15 with 5 RBI and 5 runs scored. Ray Van Gurp had the other multi hit game for the Mets.
