HOT-ROD BARAJAS DOES IT AGAIN!!!
Rod Barajas with a two home run night including a game winning walk-off bomb in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Giants 6-4!!!
For Hot-Rod, it was his third multiple home run game of the year, his eighth and ninth homers of the season.
Introducing our latest addition to the Mets Graphics Library, “HOT – ROD” BARAJAS.

This beauty was created by Kelly Horn and I must say she really outdid herself. Great job, Kelly!
- Rod Barajas currently leads all major league catchers with seven nine home runs.
- His current total of seven nine home runs, equals surpasses what Omir Santos produced last year to lead Mets catchers.
- Since Mike Piazza’s last season in 2005, when he hit 19 homers, the only Mets catcher to hit more than nine in a year was Ramon Castro, 11 in 2007.
We’ll be adding this to our graphics pages shortly.
