Video: Jason Bay Hits First Homer As A Met

After 68 at-bats and 20 games without a homerun to start his Mets’ career, Jason Bay hit his first homer of the year yesterday, blasting a solo shot in the Mets’ 4-0, Game 1 win over the Dodgers at Citi Field.

Since Jose Reyes has been inserted in the three spot, Jason Bay is swatting the ball just as Jerry Manuel predicted. Here is Bay as he crushes one over the left-center-field wall. Enjoy the video until MLB yanks it from you tube!
