Here Come The Mets!!!

Just a little something to set the mood for the huge weekend series against the Phillies. Do you remember how down we all were only two weekends ago?

Now we’re the ones that are striking fear down the spines of opposing teams. Baseball is so amazing that way…

I have three things that I would love to see from the Mets tomorrow night…

#1 – Jon Niese uncorks a high and inside fastball that sends Victorino sprawling to the ground. As Victorino gets up he glares toward Niese and Niese glares right back at him. He goes down swinging at strike three.

#2 – After Barajas hits into a potential double play, Jeff Francoeur plows into Chase Utley who drops the ball and emerges from a cloud of dust with a bloody lip. Both batters are safe.

#3 – Of course we win the game, and K-Rod screams right into the Philly dugout as he raises his fist in the air!

Here’s to a kick-ass series!
