RA Dickey had another really good outing today, giving up just 2 runs on 6 hits over 8 innings for his 2nd win. John Lujan picked up the save with a perfect 9th. The Bisons had 9 hits and 4 walks, but were hitless in 5 ABs with RISP, and left 6 on base, while striking out 10 times. Josh Thole and Alex Cintron (0 for 3, BB, K, .219) took 0-fers, while Chris Carter and Ruben Tejada had multi hit games.

Kyle Drabek and two relievers combined to shut down the most powerful offense in the EL today, holding the Mets to 4 hits, 5 walks and a run, as the Mets went hitless in 9 ABs with RISP, and left 8 on base. Brad Holt came off the DL and was decent in 2 innings, allowing 3 hits and a run, but he took the loss. Dylan Owen worked 5 innings in back of Holt, allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 3 hits and 3 walks.

Eric Beaulac has failed to complete 4 innings this season in 3 starts, he went just 2.2 innings today, giving up 3 hits and 4 unearned runs (all in the 3rd after his own error and a couple of wild pitches). Elvin Ramirez took the loss after giving up 2 runs (1 earned) over 1.1 innings. Chris Schwinden finished the game with 5 shutout innings of long relief.

The Mets had 13 hits and drew 5 walks, and were a stellar 6 for 18 (.333) with RISP, but left 12 on base, and only struck out 4 times. Emmanuel Garcia, Sean Ratliff, Eric Campbell, Stefan Welch and Matt Bouchard all had multi hit games, while Richard Lucas and Josh Satin (0 for 4, BB, .327) took 0-fers.

Jim Fuller gave up 2 runs in the first inning today, then fired 7 zeroes, giving his offense a chance to come back. Fuller ended up with a great outing, scattering 8 hits across 8 innings with 9 strikeouts for his 3rd win. Michael Powers pitched a perfect 9th for his 2nd save.

The Gnats offense gathered 9 hits and drew a pair of walks, while going 2 for 11 (.182) with RISP, leaving 8 on base, and striking out 7 times. Pedro Zapata, Wilmer Flores and Cesar Puello had multi hit games, while Juan Lagares, Jeff Flagg (0 for 4, 2 Ks, .200) and Jefry Marte took 0-fers.
