Here’s Some Tunage For The 2010 Mets

An article by posted on February 14, 2010

Lets have some fun… Just 4 more days until our boys start filing into Port St. Lucie and getting ready to deliver another season of amazin baseball. While they’re busy licking their wounds, healing up, rehabbing, practicing their fundamentals and getting into game shape, let me lighten their loads and go ahead and select their at-bat songs for them for the 2010 season. Here goes…

Jason Bay: Empire State of Mind – Jay-Z

Carlos Beltran: When I’m Gone – 3 Doors Down

Henry Blanco: Catcher In The Rye – Guns N’ Roses

Luis Castillo: Hold It Don’t Drop It – Jennifer Lopez

Frank Catalanotto: The Year of the Cat – Al Stewart

Alex Cora: My Life Would Suck Without You – Kelly Clarkson

Kelvim Escobar: Never Gonna Be the Same – Sean Paul

Pedro Feliciano: Iron Man – Black Sabbath

Nelson Figueroa: Somewhere I Belong – Linkin Park

Jeff Francoeur: Nice Guys Finish Last – Greenday

Sean Green: Keep On Rocking Me Baby – Steve Miller Band

Mike Jacobs: Mama, I’m Coming Home – Ozzy Osbourne

John Maine: Johnny B. Goode – Chuck Berry

Fernando Martinez: Your Time Is Gonna Come – Led Zeppelin

Gary Matthews Jr.: Running On Empty – Jackson Browne

Daniel Murphy: You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet – BTO

Jon Niese: Don’t You Forget About Me – Simple Minds

Angel Pagan: Calling All Angels – Train

Bobby Parnell: Here To Stay – KoRn

Mike Pelfrey: Bats In The Belfry – Dispatch

Oliver Perez: Born To Be Wild – Steppenwolf

Jose Reyes: Run Like Hell - Pink Floyd

Frankie Rodriguez: Oops, I Did It Again – Britney Spears

Johan Santana: You’re A God – Vertical Horizon

Omir Santos: One Shining Moment – David Barrett

Fernando Tatis: Don’t Phunk With My Heart – The Black Eyed Peas

David Wright: Pump Up The Jam – Technotronic

Now here’s where I need your help…

If we were to give both Jerry Manuel and Omar Minaya honorary at-bat songs, what would they be?
