I don't think we got a full view of him in '09 as I recall his briefly mentioning of advice he'd gotten ftom Oberkfell before departing had something to do with "Jerry prefers contact, try not to strikeout too much" if that's so that might explain the controlled hitting we saw with little power. I've said before, I remember before they'd broken ground on Citi, after they'd first reconfigured one of the back STL fields to resemble proposed Citi, Fred & Omar standing behind what would've been the CF fence watching an F-bomb fly high over their heads impressing everyone. perhaps for this kid's sake we need to once more relocate our AAA team; Lourdes, France seems appropriate,lmao! I don't think it has anything to do with his time with the big club, I think it's that his drop is all about the injuries. He was 20 years old last year, very few guys have success at age 20. Justin Upton played poorly at 20, so did Alex Rodriguez, Manny Ramirez was worse in his age 20 season, and a lot more I'm sure. He still has plenty of time to mature, very few players debut at age 20, in fact, most players who are 20 years old are still in A ball. I disagree.
