I mean look at the other options and Pedro won't look so bad. I would save the money and get Johnny Gomez for LF with Pagan filling in a couple times a week. F-mart should start at AAA and stay there. He still has a lot to learn. Mets have to stop rushing their prospects and let them mature at their own pace. Not a bad lineup. So it is safe to say he will be fine. Santana should be fine also. he never was a power pitcher so even if he looses MPH on his fastball he will still be a very good pitcher.
