Delgado to the American League is a good idea. He can DH and play an occasional first base.

Does anybody know who was instrumental in developing the Orioles' prospects? And how long it took to bring them along through the system and into a contributing role on the Orioles? Sounds like the Mets should at least buy the Cliff Notes version.

Thanks for the interview Phil, as well as the kind words. I don't know if it was the best idea to use me as the standard to encourage others to participate in the interview series, but I hope it works out.

I thought that Garrett Atkins would have been a good fit on the Mets as a platoon partner for Murphy and an experienced bat off the bench. Prior to the 2009 season, Atkins was a very solid hitter, and given his age I would easily call last season a fluke.

Good job with the interview, and I liked your questions. From an Orioles perspective it must suck being in a division with the Red Sox and Yankees and almost seems very unfair for a franchise with such a rich and proud history. I think a healthy Delgado would be a nice add-on for their team as a DH.
