Mets Winter League Prospect Watch – 11/13/09

The Winter Leagues are in full swing.  Mets major and minor leaguers are playing in the Arizona Fall League, Venezuelan League, Dominican League, Puerto Rican League and Mexican League.

I will report every week or so on how our Mets prospects are doing down there.

Winter League Report : as of  11/12 /09

Today, I start with Ike Davis and Josh Thole.

• Ike Davis – On 11/11 Ike went 2 for 4 with a double, HR and 4 RBI.  For the season he is batting .348 with 4 HR and 14 RBI.and an OPS of 1.017.

• Josh Thole continues to impress.  Through 11/11 he is batting .419 with an OBP of .539.  He has 7 doubles, 1 HR and 11 RBI.  He has 17 BB and 5 K is 87 plate appearances.
