Yeaa me to but why Lyons ? What about Joe Beimel the Mets showed interest last year. I think they should sign him he wouldn’t cost much maybe 1/3. Let me know what you guys think.

Mets made the right decision regarding Putz. No point paying a set-up man $9 mil. It will be interesting to see what his deal turns out to be and how long it takes him to get an offer. With his recent surgery, you wouldn’t expect much competition to sign him.

if you knew the rules the Mets had to protect him or risk losing him in the rule5 draft.Bowman was a high prospect before the injuries he is just getting himself back.I like this move and im intrigued to see how he does in Buffalo.

spongebob, he didn’t knock him or our farm system at all. he said Bowman wasn’t a top 10 prospect. that is not a knock. also, how would he know? if you know anything about Mets prospects, unlike you, then you know hes not a top 10 prospect. but anyway, i like that the Mets protected him.

Why did you have to knock Bowman for? How do you know he’s not a top 10 prospect??? Im tired of everybody knocking our farm system, when its the envy of baseball.
