you think its that easy dont you…perez is due 24 million over the next two years..thats 12 mil per year…who can afford to dump that much money…its like paying 100 dolars for a meal and the meal turns out to be bad, you cant just throw it away like that…mainly because you paid 100 dollars for it….and besides perez might bounce back next year like JOE D said, i still have hopes for him…he is trainning in arizona you know…and he definately has no trade value.

Get rid of him how? Last year we were saying the same thing about Luis Castillo. Nobody is giving us anything of value for Perez much like last season with Castillo. All we can hope for is a rebound season like little Luis gave us.

Unfortunately, a wiring defect has been discovered in the Ollie Perez model, requiring a complete rewiring of his control system. As this problem is known to all of our shoppers, it will need to be fixed before there is any demand for this model. Of course, if this problem is proven to be fixed, it will probably be removed from our shelves by its current owner.

I heard that the Mets were interested in a catcher and I thought of an idea. The Mets really need to get rid of Oliver Perez and stop holding on to this kid. He shouldn’t even be in the Major Leagues and he is never going to be the type of pitcher they are hoping for. If they can part with Oliver Perez, I can see a Joe Mauer in the Mets future. COME ON OMAR GET RID OF PEREZ! YOU MORON!

I would go for Holliday as my big time purchase this offseason. Then move in on either Pineiro or Wolf. Next would be one or two of the upside pitchers: Bedard/Harden/Sheets/Duchscherer. Then catcher. With that I think you have a solid team.
