Carlos Beltran is an amazing man, and the main reason I call him my favorite player has a lot to do with what he does off the field. After everything he has done for children and community how can you not love the guy? Then he comes out on the field and no matter what gives 110% every time!

Say what you want about his game, but nothing makes me prouder than being able to say Carlos Beltran plays for my team.

Great story, this type of story rarely gets reported by the media. Love to see a successful person give back to his community, shows alot about his character.

This is something you really would like to see more of. These guys make so much money and its good to see a guy like Beltran doing this. as you mentioned, hes not the “rah rah” guy, but he does care and that makes a great individual and a great leader. you might not be the loudest but you accomplish the most.
