The Mets need to make sure they retain Pedro. A 2 yr contract is fine and should it take 3 to strike a deal, they should do it.

A two year deal sounds fine to me. He’s proven himself to be reliable and I’d say he deserves it. Frankly, I’d like to see some more arms in the bullpen, if only to baby K-Rod, as he’s appeared to be quite shaky lately.
