It's amazing how many younger Mets fans believe that the Mets won the World Series in game six. Game seven is just as memorable to me, especially the performance of El Sid who came out and dominated the Red Sox until we were able to come back and take the lead. I was going nuts when Davey chose to pinch hit for him, but luckily Mazzilli came through and ignited a big inning and set the stage for Keith's big 2 run double. When will we ever feel emotions like that again? It's been too long. Thanks for doing such a great job of stirring up the great memories of those two games.
