It only deals with the balls the player gets to and the less range a player has the less balls he gets to and the balls he does get to are easier than ones better fielders reach. Holliday is a real good left fielder, has good range doesn't make a ton of errors, and his arm is about average. He's one of the better left fielder in baseball and would be a spectacular pick up.
