Mets Get Buy One, Get One Deal At Hospital For Special Surgery

Jon Heyman and Joel Sherman are both saying that Dr. David Altchek will be performing surgery on both Johan Santana and Oliver Perez on Tuesday.

What a lucky break for the Mets… It must be “Two for Tuesday” at the Hospital for Special Surgery…

Santana, of course, will have bone chips removed from his left elbow, while Oliver Perez gets his knee repaired.

Both pitchers are expected to be healthy and ready by spring training, but isn’t that what they said about John Maine last season?

The fact of the matter is that the Mets should stay out of the predicting and projecting business because they stink at it.

That said, get well soon Johan…

    Just hope it isn’t Johan that gets his knee repaired and Ollie who has the bone chips removed. That would seem par for the course with this team.
