Watch Jenrry Mejia And Wilmer Flores In Futures Game Today
If any of you want to catch a glimpse of two of the Mets brightest prospects, I urge you to tune in to ESPN 2 this afternoon at 2:00 PM EST and watch the Futures Game.
The New York Mets will have two players participating; pitcher Jenrry Mejia and shortstop Wilmer Flores.
Mejia was 4-1 with a 1.97 ERA for St. Lucie, and is 0-3 with a 3.74 ERA since being promoted to Binghamton.
Flores is batting .280 at Single-A Savannah with a .319 on-base percentage.
Wilmer Flores who is just 17 years old, is considered by many to have overtaken Fernando Martinez as the best prospect in the Mets organization.
Jenrry Mejia has been rocketing through the organization and has displayed amazing velocity and command.
Try and tune in if you can…

I like watching the future’s game. I believe Flores is starting for the World team at 2B.
Mejia won’t be playing.
