To Tony B., the Mets fault is always beneath his position on the organization chart.

With an attitude like his, the truth is even the San Andreas Fault is smaller than Tony B's.

I am getting angry at Mets management because they have now created a poisonous atmosphere of losing. The team's morale is now at a low point that they may not recover for the second half of the year. Tony B needs to leave the Mets altogether because he has become a cancer to this team and Minaya. Enough with the excuses Wilpon, Minaya, Tony B., Manuel and the players to shape up or be the laughing stock of baseball at the end of the year.

Great, we're officially the New York Knicks of MLB!

Crazy as it is, we're just three games out of first, but I have zero confidence in this team now b/c I I have the sneaking suspicion that the mistakes and errors are eating away at this group of guys in Mets uniforms, which is going to undermine the team concept with each game. I think it's actually going beyond someone proverbially "stepping up"; our Mets need a new ethos and a fresh approach to how they play their games. Now, Manuel is absolutely faced with his greatest professional challenge.

Injured men cannot return to a team in disarray with no spirit. Their role is to enhance; they cannot transform.

Frankly, I think Tatis totally sums up what most Mets are feeling--to wit, I don't know where or when I'm going to play, and I don't exactly know what my role is. Shameful.

Kudos to the author for this piece on our hapless Mets as they continue to embarrass us and themselves. Alex Cora will no doubt pay for his candor . Freddy Coupons need to help us Mets fans by PLEASE selling the team asap. Maybe he can get his wish and buy a part of the Dodgers. But please sell the Mets to someone who actually is a Mets fan and has a clue. Bernazard gets away with his backstabbing because The Coupons apparently subscribe to the "divide and conquer" approach to management. As a nameless lawnmower once said, and I paraphrase to keep this rated "G" "Omar and Jerrys's butt is grass, and Tony B is the lawnmower"
