It seems like they need any extra money they can get because they're not certainly not spending it on extra players. I think Manuel is so shocked at what has happened to his team that he laughs at press conferences just because he can't figure out what else to do. Then again, he's always been a manager who preaches tolerance and patience. He's just in a city that has more than its share of intolerant and impatient fans. I like him as a man, but he's not the type of manager who can get through the tough situations these players keep putting him in. For his sake, I hope the team can show some fire soon or else even Manuel might forget about his laid-back attitude. Then again, maybe that's what we want him to do.
