Just when the Mets give us reason to hope again, they pull out another game like this. Bd pitching, bad hitting, bad defense. Just like Livan’s last start. I hope this is not the new Livan.

I can’t believe Omar is not making a move to improve the team. Even Ryan Freel or Angel Berroa would improve the bench. And why not bring up Cory Sullivan and send down Fernando Martinez before his trade value is reduced to practically nothing ? I am having a tough time watching this team.

I hope this doesn’t start a new trend in which Livan fulfills expectations instead of exceeding them. Murphy is becoming a very tired act. Can we make a trade for a real hitter and send Murph off to Buffalo with the rest of the worthless? Let’s hope Nieve doesn’t follow Livan onto the “over the hill gang” today. Church is putting himself onto the Met’s core player list. Misch is a pleasant surprise which hopefully continues. A tie for 1st is still within reach — let’s go for it, Please!
