Who get the GOAT award for this game? Berroa was awful, but 12 hits against gives it to Santana. Second half GOATS so far: Parnell, Pelfry, Cora, Perez, Pelfry, and Santana.

Saddness is the continued loss in velocity by Santana. Speed between fastball and changeup is small and he is throwing in low, like 90, 90′s. Is he hurt too? What is going on with the pitcher that was supposed to own the 2nd half of season? I hope he is not hurt but where is the velocity?

Sad game. Finally we score more than 1 run, and it is still 1 run too few. I probably would have sent the runner, better to take a chance when we are hitting like .100 with runner on. The outfielder just made a very good throw, lets give credit where it is due.

what the hell was razor shines doing sending frenchy from second on that base hit by murph? it was only about 40 feet into the outfield grass and francoeur was out by about 30 feet…someone please teach that man how to hold a f’n runner!

Sigh. Who would’ve thought Hampton’s two-run HR would be the difference? In SNY’s post game interview, Jeff Francoeur likened himself to a “pansy” (his word, not mine) for the way he went into Pudge Rodriguez. Where was that football mentality he supposedly played with? Ty Wigginton would have laid Pudge out! I hope Jon Niese can continue his roll when he faces the Astros tonight.
