Binghamton 8, Erie 7

There needs to be a rule put into place in baseball whereby if you enter a game with a 3 run lead, and the game ends with a 1 run differential, you don’t get a save. Connor Robertson pitched horribly, giving up 2 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks in the 9th, but he got a save he didn’t deserve. Eric Niesen started and gave up 4 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings for his first EL victory.

The Mets had 8 hits and drew 5 walks, while going 6 for 10 with RISP, and leaving 7 on base. Emmanuel Garcia (2) and Lucas Duda (2) had multi hit games, while DJ Wabick (0 for 4, 2 Ks, .291), Jon Malo (0 for 3, run, BB, K, .254) and Ruben Tejada (0 for 3, .271) took 0-fers.
