What took him so long to ‘fess-up” about this? Omar’s great trade to fix the pen just went up in smoke. Seattle took him to the cleaners. OK, now let’s get the revolving door going — it’s Dessen’s turn. On top of all that, it’s unbelievable that his bullpen session showed the problem and he was still sent in to pitch in a critical game situation. It appears winning is not high on the Mets’ list of priorities!

I’ve used this line many times in the last year in comments on blogs, and even used it as a title for a post on my own…

Calling Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard.

And It was STILL a good trade because of the dead weight we gave up in the bullpen when we got him. Injuries happen. they suck, but they happen, and you need to treat it properly.

I think the Players Union should come down hard on the Mets. This team ignores injuries, make their guys go out while hurt because for some reason they refuse to admit that a guy got injure. The said player injure himself further and still require surgery, making out longer.
