The tarp they used at Shea was a two piece job. Maybe the grounds crew needs to get some practice with the piece. It almost looks like the alignment of the tarp against the side wall doesn't allow it to roll out to the field without some wasted motion. you see the grounds crew having to push the tarp out, rotate it a bit, then start to unroll it to cover the field. having to rotate is wasted motion and makes it take longer to get totally unrolled. maybe the wasted motion hurt them even more in getting the tarp weighed down by the heavy rain.
