Wright Hits First Mets Homer At Citi!
David Wright just hit the first Mets homerun at Citi Field, and it wasn’t just your ordinary homerun…
With the Mets down by three runs in the bottom of the fifth, Dan Murphy and Jose Reyes were on first and third and the crowd was getting raucous.
Then, Wright took a 3-2 pitch into the deep into the night over the leftfield wall to tie the game up.
It was dramatic shot and hopefully it will propel the Mets to a win.
