With Castillo doing pretty well now and Delgado as the hottest player on the team, there isn't much opportunity as an IF backup. The OF is pretty well clogged up. Perhaps he could actually catch as Castro's back-up while Schneider is on the DL and Santos could go back to AAA. That would have allowed us to hang onto O'Day a while longer.
