Why shoud the Wilpons pay 36 million dollars to Perez so that he can play for his country and risk injury or the proper conditioning it takes to be ready for the long MLB season. If Dan Warthen was pissed off at Ollie for being in bad shape after the WBC, what kind of shape was he in when he arrived for the tournament? That answer proves that certain players are still immature and should be monitored during the offseason.
