Tim Redding Bullpen Session Scratched
Mets pitcher, Tim Redding has been on the shelf with what’s being called a minor sore shoulder.
Redding was considered a solid contender for the number five spot in the rotation, but has yet to appear in any game action.
He had been scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Thursday, but pitching coach Dan Warthen scrapped that plan for an unexplained reason.
The team is reporting that Redding will continue to long toss before stepping on a mound again in a few days.
He is still listed as the March 8th starter.

Went to my first Mets game, a Mayors Trophy game at Shea, in '73. We beat the Yankees 8-4 and I was hooked. I marched in two Banner Day parades, and before the Grand Slam single, there was the "Hendu Can Do" grand slam - I was there. I've collected Mets memorabilia all my life and started Mets Merized Online to feed my addiction.
