As for the possibility of it working again, I will believe it when I see it. It’s such a crap shoot. John Maine worked out well… Oliver Perez did for the most part… but Omar has many more failures than he has successes. Ambiorix Burgos was a winner, right? And lets not forget the other man Omar brought over with Maine, Jorge Julio. He traded away a talented pair of relievers in Heath Bell and Royce Ring for Ben Johnson and John Adkins(?) Omar’s track record when it comes to getting players that nobody else wants is average at best.

I don’t think O’Day had a labium injury, unless he recently had a sex change. I think you mean a labrum injury.

Great job so far Omar.You have kept our top prospects,very glad.Now lets get Lowe,or Perez(back).Also sign Garland or Wolf.We dont need to tinker with the offence.Imagine Santana,Pelfrey,Lowe(perez),Maine,Garland(wolf).We dont need to rush Parnell,or Neise.But they are ready for injury,and get much needed innings,in the minors to work on consistency.

That’s pretty interesting that the Mets got back a side armer from Seattle in Sean Green, and now another one in O’Day.
It’s too bad we didn’t have him last season…
