to jerry: the naming rights to the stadium will still be citi field although citigroup is going through finacial struggles.
about the article: id like to seee the mets give niese a shot at the 5th spot in the rotation, but if he fails, then we need a backup plan such as a randy wolf or nate roberston, pherphaps jarrod washburn. and you can take javier vasquez out of the trading block because the braves have just acquired him and boone logan from the white sox.

Agreed Joe, I think Niese would benefit from a full season at AAA. He was impressive vs. the Braves, but the lineup they fielded that night was pitiful. He has good stuff though.
I’d like to see spots 4 and 5 in the rotation filled by a combination of:
Derek Lowe, Javier Vazquez, Randy Wolf, Nate Robertson, Odalis Perez, and mayyyyyybe Jon Garland for a cheap price
