Hey Giambi, This Bud’s For You!
MLB.com reports that Yankees slugger Jason Giambi won’t face any disciplinary actions from Major League Baseball for his comments about his own use of performance-enhancing drugs, which received wide circulation in May, Commissioner Bud Selig said Thursday.
"I’m happy with it," Giambi said in New York before the Yankees started a four-game series with the Tigers. "Now I can move forward and not hurt the ballclub by taking a suspension or anything like that."
I can’t believe that an admitted steroid user goes free!
Bud Selig is just an empty suit when it comes to steroids. He is like a lion without teeth and a tiger without claws.
Maybe we should start calling him "Bud Light"
He moaned and groaned about showing up for Bond’s historic homerun, but in the end there he was applauding.
How can he let Jason Giambi go free and without any punishment??
For crying out loud the guy’s got $20 million coming to him, couldn’t he have at least fined him $5 million and give the money to schools across the country and get the message out that steroids can destroy your body and mind?
