Injury Update – Endy Chavez To Have MRI On Injured Hamstring

The Mets have scheduled an MRI for Thursday morning for Endy Chavez to determine the severity of his hamstring injury. Endy Chavez seemed to be in much pain and some believe a trip to the Disabled List is unavoidable. Pedro Martinez took another huge step toward his return today at Port St. Lucie. For the first time since undergoing rotator cuff surgery, Pedro threw 31 pitches off the mound and had very positive results.
