Injury Update – Endy Chavez To Have MRI On Injured Hamstring

The Mets have scheduled an MRI for Thursday morning for Endy Chavez to determine the severity of his hamstring injury. Endy Chavez seemed to be in much pain and some believe a trip to the Disabled List is unavoidable.

Chavez pulled up lame while trying to beat out a double play with the bases loaded in tonight’s loss to the Phillies. He had to be carried off the field.

Mets Merized will continue to monitor this situation and report to you as events unfold.
